We’re not strangers to inconvenient weather during photo sessions. But Dani and Kurt’s DePere engagement session was the total opposite. We had perfect weather, a great day, a gorgeous location, and this pretty adorable couple! It doesn’t get much better than that.
Being a photographer is clearly awesome for so many reasons. One of my favorites is that every session is totally different. When we discussed options for Anna’s senior photo session, we kept coming back to the idea of a more urban look. Even though its become a popular location, it’s always fun to find new and different ways to create downtown Green Bay senior pictures. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have super fun clients either 🙂
If you’re familiar with some of my website content, you’re probably aware that I shoot weddings, seniors, families, babies, “and other photography adventures.” That’s not just blog filler–I really do enjoy the creative challenge of new ideas. The Rohm family took me up on that with their ideas for this Seymour family session, and we had a great time!
Part of making senior pictures personal and memorable is using a location that is meaningful in some way. When we were planning Jacob’s session, the ideas we discussed were rustic, landscapes, textures, and a piano. Luckily, his uncle’s property had all that and more for his farm senior pictures!
I have not gotten to photograph a little one this little in a long time. Ethan arrived into the world a wee bit early and I got to meet him at the perfect age of nine days old for his Chicago newborn session. In talking with his (very awesome) parents, I am in total awe of how easy they’re making everything look with this parenting thing. Ethan seems to have gotten that message too. He was a total joy to photograph!
